September 13th, 2008, [from North Carolina]

One piece of news… as of yesterday I am the great gram of a 6 pound 5 ounce girl named Naveah (heaven spelled backwards, so help me) Jordyn. Heck, while I'm at it, I'm also the great aunt of a 20 mo old tiger of a girl named Trianna Danger Mitchell, I kid you not.

Naveah was born after 4pm Friday. My grandson, a Marine and her Dad, has been working nights and trouble sleeping days. I'm not sure anyone brought a camera to the hospital. Naveah's mom Sara is the only one with a clear head on a regular basis and I think she got busy being in labor. I'll keep you posted.
