Elizabeth Struble

September 04, 2008

Transitioned on September 4, 2008. Liz will be dearly missed and was deeply loved by her daughter Suzanne Struble of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving Liz are her loving friends Karen Jones, Linda Wotring, Joy Rome, and Billie Bahr. Professionally, Liz assisted, counseled, and blessed the lives of many people with disabilities as a Social Security advocate.

In her personal life Liz was a member of Golden Temple Qi Gong. Liz also loved argentine tango, ballroom dancing, and was involved in a writing group, a movie group, and was very passionate about world politics. Liz's life message for us is to love yourself, help your fellow man, protect children, and practice peace. In lieu of flowers, Suzanne would request that you honor your choice of Liz's favorite causes which include MoveOn.org, Oxfam.org, Heifer International (heifer.org), Middle East Fellowship (www.middle eastfellowhsip.org), and StandUp for Kids - Atlanta (http://www.standup forkids.org/local/georgia/Atlanta/). You are welcomed to come and remember her this Saturday, September 13, at 11 a.m. in the Friends Meeting House which is located at 1420 Hill Street in Ann Arbor.
