Subject: Kuei-mei & Neil after Alaska & Asia - November 2007
Dear Friends,
Greetings from Florida!
We just came back from a 38-day cruise from Vancouver, through Alaska, to Russia, Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, and got off the ship in Thailand.
The cruise was comfortable and the port stops fascinating. The sailaway past the Hong Kong skyline well after sunset was particularly impressive, as were the Alaskan glaciers and humpback whales, the Great Wall of China, the drumming shows put on for our sailaways in Japan and Korea, the world's tallest building in Taiwan, the mind boggling motorbike traffic in Vietnam, and much more.
During our one-week in Bangkok, we were surrounded by ancient palaces and temples, greeted by beautiful and smiling Thai people, sat next to tamed tigers raised by Buddhist monks, and wrapped around our necks by pythons.
Glad to be home to share a few photos with you. It is time to get back to our routine of healthy food, daily exercise and weight reduction.
Hugs,
Kuei-mei & Neil
