Dear Friends,

Another update to let you know we are well and enjoying our lives.

In late August, we spent two great weeks in Asheville with side trips to the Smokies, up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway. During our many hikes, we enjoyed delicious wild raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. Judy Dancing and her husband, Pierre, came up from Charlotte to spend the day with us.

In October, we were in New York City visiting Kuei-mei's sister, childhood friend of 40 years and college roommate of 35 years. We saw Broadway's "Avenue Q" and loved the sumptuous authentic Asian cuisines three blocks from our hotel.
