Florida Vacation:
If you have read the January and February letters you’ll know that we have been staying in a very nice rental home in Riverwood.
Our day have been wonderful, aside form some health issues, but the temperatures and weather have been quite nice this year.
We spend the first two weeks of March just loafing and spending our time exercising, eating and playing computer and crafts. Depending on what the spirits moved us to do on a given day is what we did. Here is a photo of the house we rented and enjoyed during our stay this year.

We left Riverwood (in Port Charlotte) on March 15th and drove across the state to Port. St. Lucie where my Brother Normal lives. We found a nice motel in Fort Pierce near the Interstate and a very short drive to his house in Port St. Lucie. We visited on Saturday and again on Sunday. Both times we had a grand old time talking about this and that. Our visit was fruitful as Norm and I racked our brains to remember people from our old neighborhood. That’s all quite good since Norm has almost total recall of those years and well, much of what I wanted to know about wasn’t possible for me to remember since I wasn’t born yet.
The other fun thing we did was to rummage through a box of electronic gizmos that he was getting rid of. In that box I found several security cameras and and associated items that will come in handy as I’m in the midst of rigging up some cameras around our house. Most of you already know that Mr. Jerry tends to do a bit of “dumpster diving” and he didn’t even have to risk life or limb getting these treasures. So that was and unexpected and exciting find. Out visit with Norm was very nice and I think we covered about every topic that we needed to cover before Mrs. Gerrie and I continued on our way north on Sunday. We had reservation for that evening at Disney where we planned to stay a few days before heading back home.
Disney hasn't changed any since we were last there. We always enjoy visiting there and look forward to having them vacuum our wallets at every turn. This year was no exception to that routine. Again the food in their food courts was mostly awful except for one meal that was particularly tasty. Other than that it was up to their usual not so good cuisine. The food aside, we always look forward to a lunch of fish and chips at the British pavilion in Epcot. Then there is the ride called Soaring, and the French pavilion and tour of France with the most beautiful music one can imagine. Before leaving Epcot we took in the evening fireworks where Mr. Jerry was able to capture some neat photos of that show.

The music played during that show is spectacular and it's hard to concentrate on taking photos because it's so dazzling.
Almost everything there is just awesome and we have enjoyed all our visits there.
The accommodations are comfortable even though it ‘s a bit “low end”. I’ll have to say that there is nothing fancy about their “economy” rooms. At least they are cheaper than most all the motels in the area.
