Posted from Sanibel Island, Florida

Little going on here...the temperatures continue to be on the cooler side, and while Mrs. Gerrie works a puzzle over there on the coffee table, I'm trying to bring our Travelogues up to date.

Life here is very, very low ebb. We spend a lot of time looking out onto the courtyard and admiring the pretty sunshine, knowing that it's not exactly as it seems out there.

We did walk the beach after lunch today. While I lagged behind moving at a snails pace, shooting photos and enjoying the bird life, Mrs. Gerrie opted for some real excerise. She likely put in a mile or two in the westerly direction along our beach. (remember that Sanibel Island is oriented east and west) My slow pace is related of my left ankle. It's always been a problem for me...one doctor once told me that I was likely born deformed. Now it's more of a problem, given that the muscles that used to help compensate, are not as strong as they once were. Ah, life does have it's ups and downs.

Hope that those of you who are having snow events are dealing well. I have to point out that it's not snowing here.......but wait.......I hear that Tallahassee is expecting snow tomorrow...and Dallas got five or six inches, as I hear it. What is this place coming to?

Hugs,
Jerry & Gerrie
