A really, really laid back day. Not much to do and it has warmed up quite a bit.

We decided to go out for Pizza tonight. Mr. Jerry recalled this one place where the Pizza wasn't very good in the past so we were going to avoid that one. We checked the restaurant guide and found another and headed there. Once we arrived we were about to order when the counter guy answered the phone using the name of the place we were trying to avoid. So we scurried out the door before the guy coould get off the phone. We drove around a bit looking for the pizza joint we originally wanted but were unable to find it. Finally we figured out that the bad pizza people had bought out the other one. So we went back in hopes that the pizza would be better or that maybe we caught them on a bad night the last time. Once there we ordered only to find that they were over whelmed with orders and short handed to boot, which meant that we waited a good 45 minutes before our pizza came out of the oven. While we were waiting for our pizza to arrive saw customer after customer arrive only to find that their pizza wasn't ready.

Finally our pizza did arrive and we paid and opened our prize. The more we ate the worse that the pizza tasted...Mr. Jerry complaigned the whole time saying that this has to be the worst pizzaq he has ever had. He further stated that this Island would be a good place to open a pizza joint. Especially if one knew how to make pizza. Donatos (from Columbus) would be just the right people to open a shop here. The market is wide open if this is the best these guys can do. The only other pizza available here is from the restaurant where we got the pork jerky a few days ago. Mr. Jerry said that we're not going back there either. So mark two places off our list for possible restaurants.

Quite frankly there aren't too many good places to eat here even thought there is no shortage of restaurants. However, the good news is that you can buy your own groceries (two stores for that) and make your food to suit yourself.

Hugs,
Jerry & Gerrie
