Posted from Sanibel Island, Florida

I found something new to take photos of today. It's the sunrise and it's always spectacular here. We never get tired of seeing how different each one is.

I was up before 7 this morning and decided to get some photos of sunrise before we leave the Island. So with a bit of hustling I managed to get myself dressed and down on the beach just as the sun was about half way above the horizon. You might recall that our sunrise is directly over Ft. Myers Beach since our water view is actually south east.

There were some clouds to make the event more colorful as you can see below.

One other thing to mention here......the last photo below was also featured with yesterday's photos. No one asked about the fellow kneeling on the beach looking as if he is looking for his lost diamond ear ring. Well, for the past few days we've seen this guy out there doing exactly what you see him doing here. He brings a kneeling pad, his heavy jacket, a bag and magnifying glass. I've not asked him what he might be looking for. We figure it's one of two things...either he is an escapee from some place where they lock folks up, or else he really knows what he is looking for and it's very very small. We'll never know given that we're too chicken to ask.

Hugs,
Jerry & Gerrie
