August....yep, it's summer and I'm just loving every minute of it. The early part of the season was taken up with baseball, then it was camp, and Karate, now it's football. I'm a busy boy these days and I love to play sports.

It's also back to school for me. I started 4th grade and while I was dreading it, so far it's turning out to be pretty good. My new teacher is nice and while it's certainly different than last year I think I'm going to like it.

The first thing that happened is that I passed my Karate test and moved up to a dark blue belt. I really, really like Karate and the teachers there. It's sort of physically demanding and that suits me just fine.

Next was school and now it's football. We started practice early in the month and played our first game this past weekend. We lost the game but I think we are going to improve next time. The Coaches seemed pleased with our progress so we'll see how we do in future games.
