Coin toss, I'm #33 out there

Something happened here....no photos to put in for September. I'm thinking that it's a problem with Pa Paw since he's been gimping around for over a month now. Something happened to his leg and he hasn't been taking photos as normal.

This month we're showing photos of me in my football uniform. The month has been mostly wall-to-wall football for me. Our team is undefeated through September and it appears that we're headed for the playoffs. I've been playing both offense and defense for some of the games this year. I am the center for offense and a guard when I play defense. I was also selected captain of the team which means that I get to go out for the coin toss. The other piece of good news is that I've been asked to play quarterback some of the time. I really like when I get to handle the ball. I'm learning at that position and I did have one long gainer during the game when I played that position. Stay tuned, I'm thinking there are more things to come for me and football this year.

There is more good news. I'm really excited about school this year. I don't know if there is such as thing as honor roll in the third grade but if there is surely I'm on it. I really like my teacher and doing very well. I did hear that the teacher says that I'm doing good and he is pleased with my progress with every subject. I always tell Pa Paw that I'm not learning anything in school...he always asks. I don't really like to talk about that stuff, but the fact is that I'm learning a bunch.

See ya soon,
Jake
